About heukno

GenAI (generative artificial intelligence) is taking over more and more tasks previously believed to require human-level intelligence. However, GenAI is fundamentally limited by the insights and concepts in its training data, and the tasks presented to it by its human users. Effectively, the systems act as assistants helping humans navigating the aggregate of human knowledge. We propose a radically different role for AI. We believe that the future of AI will be characterized by self-exploratory systems that generate insights, concepts, and ideas on their own in domains of interest. These systems will not be limited by human knowledge, nor human goals. The systems will act as free explorers teaching and inspiring humans by their findings, and driving scienfic discoveries. We are building such a system.
