About HEX Aps

HEX designs and produces ladieswear and menswear. The vision is to create a lifestyle brand, where HEX is the universe – the individual style, the colours, the unique touch and the high quality are all key words that describe the HEX brand. The inspiration to start HEX comes from the joy of intense colours and prints. HEX design is greatly inspired by the Mediterranean and colours and prints combined with contrast details are used in most of the designs. By playing with colours and adding contrast details to the designs the HEX collection stands out as an unique and inspiring collection. Behind HEX are two friends from school, Maria Hecksher and Helena Friis. The designer and creative person is Maria Hecksher, who original got the idea to HEX after living more than a decade both in Luxembourg and Monaco. Maria graduated from the well-known fashion institute Margrethe Skolen in Copenhagen. Helena Friis, who has worked for more than 12 years in the fashion industry, for companies like Donna Karan and French Connection in London and SAND in Denmark, is in charge of sales and marketing. "We could see that fashion was missing more colours and prints, especially for men, which is how the idea for the HEX shirt in Liberty fabric came across. HEX retails in 7 different countries. Furthermore, HEX is online and has a webshop where you can buy all the HEX products. All HEX products are produced in EU.
