Hexacomb is the leading global manufacturer of a high-performance paper product used in a wide variety of industrial applications. We make HEXACOMB® honeycomb, a strong and lightweight material that has two main uses: as a cushioning material in protective packaging, and as a structural component in building and consumer products. We also produce FALCONBOARD®, a graphic display board made from honeycomb that provides a high-quality printing surface for signage and point-of-purchase displays in consumer products markets. HEXACOMB honeycomb is an environmentally-responsible alternative to foam and expanded polystyrene materials because it is made primarily from kraft paper, a renewable forest resource. Our paper-based product is completely recyclable in standard corrugated recycling streams available in local communities. Our custom-designed packaging solutions help customers reduce their total system costs while improving sustainability. With over 40 years of experience, our products have protected products in markets as diverse as automotive, building products, food and beverage, industrial goods, consumer products, transportation, and medical/pharmaceutical. Hexacomb’s main offices are in Buffalo Grove IL, a suburb of Chicago. The company has approximately 470 employees in 14 manufacturing facilities in the US, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France, and the Netherlands. Hexacomb is a unit of Packaging Corporation of America (PCA).
