About Hey Olive! Studios

Olive is a project-planning organizer, idea-generating visualizer, award-winning designer with over 25 years of experience, and a power tool-toting, challenge-loving handywoman, home stager and house renovator who specializes in the art of making creative changes so you can love the space you're in. . . . . . After spending over three decades designing award-winning, educational, interactive exhibits and graphics for museums, historical sites, visitor centers, and state parks, I sold my shares of the successful exhibit firm I co-founded and moved to Whidbey Island, Washington. It was a new chapter in my story, a way to refocus my skills, and an opportunity to support my mom’s dream of creating a home in such a magical place. I combined the skills I’d honed as a professional designer with the hands-on chops acquired from remodeling and reselling multiple homes, and began renovating our own property on the Island. It didn’t take long to realize the immense local need for my skillset. I started hearing, “Hey Olive!” from my mom’s friends, wondering if I could help out with this or that. In early 2024, I formed Hey Olive! Studios, LLC, and with the help of my mom — er, my Chief of All Things Administrative — my services are now available to help others create a space they love… one that truly tells their own story.
