We understand the stress and uncertainty of navigating through this major life transition, while simultaneously trying to figure out a confusing system. Few are truly prepared for caregiving, yet it is a likely role for most. Our compassionate, comprehensive and cost-effective approach ensures you have the right resources and support services for your social, legal, financial and mental health needs (we cover it all but the medical stuff). From coordinating care and dealing with payments to making decisions about providers and nursing homes, we create custom programs and help you fill in the many gaps in care that exist. We help you tackle both the knowns and unknowns, and ask the tough questions: - Is one family member more seriously ill than the other? - Should your parents continue to live together? - Who does the family want to designate as Power of Attorney, and who is best for this role? - Do you believe your parents are being taken advantage of? - Are your parents prepared for a Medicaid loopback? We then find the answers and assist in simplifying the process. The core of the Parent Your Parents program is our interdisciplinary team. Our dedicated team includes an attorney, accountant, therapist, moving specialist, aides, and drivers.
