Our old school, hardworking mentality stems from our 120+ years of doing business the right way. Hill and Griffith grew tired of unreliable carriers and poor service. Our owner Dave Greek, Jr. and his father got together and brainstormed how to resolve their transportation issues. “If you want something done right, do it yourself,” and HGL Logistics LLC was born. HGL began using their trucks to help out Hill and Griffith’s customers. Our customer service and reliability spread quickly by word of mouth and customer demand grew too large to handle with just HG’s fleet. HG Logistics became an asset based carrier with brokerage authority. We were brokers before the current boom of call center brokerages. We were around when you were a broker just to offer your customer more service and capacity, and that is how we still operate. Our word and reputation mean something, we are the trucker’s broker and the customer’s reliable trucking company.
