And our friendly and knowledgeable team of customer service experts is dedicated to helping you every step of the way. History HGH was founded in 1963 as a response to a need in the cabinet industry for a reliable source of cabinet hardware and supplies. Our founder, Edwin R. Holcombe, long involved in a cabinet and woodworking business with his father, researched the market and available sources and saw the need for a high-quality distributor of cabinet hardware. HGH remained a family-owned business until 2022, when it was acquired by Richelieu America, Ltd. Since our founding, we have seen changes in almost every area of our business. Products, customers, staff, internal procedures, and the cabinet industry itself have all changed dramatically over the years. What hasn't changed is our commitment to being the woodworking industry's service leader. We are constantly raising the bar so that we can continue to meet and exceed our customers' service expectations. In January 2022, HGH Hardware Supply was acquired as a division of Richelieu America, Ltd., but we remain committed to the relationships and customer service principles on which the company was founded.
