About HI Foundation Ghana

The HI Foundation was established in October 2017 with the aim of creating awareness for two cardiovascular diseases( Diabetes and Hypertension ) in Ghana especially in rural communities in Ghana where specialized health information and services on these diseases are hardly available. Our vision is to complement global efforts in awareness creation and management of hypertension & diabetes and lead the space for cardiovascular medicine in West Africa. Our mission is to strategize interventions of medical screenings, influence lifestyles that reduce the risk of hypertension and diabetes, champion advocacy for people affected, prevent the development of complications and support global agenda against hypertension and diabetes in a team faction. Our goal is to educate the public about good lifestyle behaviours in relation to Diabetes and Hypertension. This is achieved through consistent social media interaction, talks on radio and at functions. We also organize regular health screenings. We actively support individuals and families who are or at risk of being burdened by complications of Diabetes and Hypertension. We give you a specialist opinion about your health.
