About Hidden Gems

Hidden Gems is a non-profit organization serving the Las Vegas and Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that provides quality beauty products to women rebuilding their lives after facing homelessness, addiction and/or abuse. We are especially mindful that Black women and women of color are disproportionately impacted by these hardships, and that their beauty needs are unique. The direct correlation between confidence and success is not spoken about enough. It’s a proven fact that people with high self-esteem and positive self-image perform at a higher level. Maintaining a positive self-image despite the common challenges we face in life can be difficult enough. Hidden Gems is dedicated to fostering quality relationships by empowering women to productively re-enter society with confidence through self-care. We also aim to provide ultra feminine safe spaces that allow women to temporarily forget the adversity they may be facing and prioritize self-care. Hidden Gems plans monthly G.E.M. events where we distribute beauty products, discuss self-care tips, share stories about our personal self-love journeys and truly connect with and uplift women in our communities.
