About High Point Community Foundation
The High Point Community Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to strengthening the community for both present and future generations. In simplest terms, we're a tax-exempt organization that collects, manages and distributes funds for the betterment of the greater High Point area. We are one of approximately 700 community foundations across the United States and part of a growing global trend with an estimated 1,175 community foundations identified in 46 countries. We have a four-pronged mission: 1. Raise and grow an endowment for the community 2. Administer an Annual Grants Program 3. Manage funds for individuals, families, non profits and for profits 4. Serve as a leader and a convener to make good things happen in the community The purpose of this page is to help unite people of the community to a mutual understanding of what the High Point Community Foundation stands for.
