The history of our business goes back to just after the turn of the century, when a window cleaner, by the name of Luke Jones, decided to setup his own firm, by borrowing ladders from his family and going out to canvas the streets for sales. A few years later, the Princes Trust met with the fledgling business, and High Shine rapidly expanded to become one of Hampshire's leading and most popular window cleaning providers. Now, the well-known and ever expanding local business has a clientale of over 100 homes, shops and offices, which sweep a crescent from the peaceful little town of Totton, through the leafy suburbs of Shirley and Bassett, to the beautiful green country lanes north of Romsey. When you choose High Shine, you choose professionals, with many years of experience in the industry, and registered with Ettore. We are a Prince's Trust sponsored business, and we are government-registered (not 'cash in hand' 'here today, gone tomorrow'). We have studied the industry, i.e. the significance of microscopic particles known as glass fines, and causes of condensation between panes. We are currently studying for the industry-regulating NVQ2 Cleaning and Support Services qualification. We are known for our attention to safety - Luke Jones holds a British Safety Council certificate for Health & Safety. High Shine is a founding member of the farspread Institute for Exterior Cleaning which supports safe work methods. Our aim is to provide the safest, most reliable, and most effective window cleaning service, while considering the client budget.
