About Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association
The Hillhurst Sunnyside Community Association (HSCA) serves the communities of Hillhurst and Sunnyside in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The HSCA’s mission statement is “to preserve and enhance a healthy and vibrant quality of life for the residents of Hillhurst-Sunnyside”. HSCA traces its roots all the way back to 1912, but was not registered as a society until 1948. In 1980, HSCA gained registered charitable status and since then we have continued to be a significant provider of social services in the Hillhurst-Sunnyside area and beyond. Our primary services areas are Seniors services (snow removal, housekeeping and lawn care), Outreach Services and Child Care, making us a full-service community centre. Donations made to HSCA are tax deductible. Donors to the United Way may direct all or a portion of their contribution to HSCA through the United Way of Calgary, Donor Choice program.
