Established in 1996 in the U.S., Himalayan Health Exchange (HHE) believes that health care should not be a selective privilege but rather a tool to ensure equity and transformation of global communities. Through its dedicated effort to expand free, preventive care to the underserved populations, HHE runs annual medical and dental expeditions to the remote Indo-Tibetan Himalayan region – bringing medical, dental and global health students and residents to local, mobile, outpatient clinics.
