Hip Hop Fundamentals is a Philadelphia-based dance education company that uses the power of Breaking (breakdancing) and Hip Hop culture to engage, educate, and inspire. We are the only company in the world dedicated to blending professional-level dance with academic and social content, creating unforgettable programs for schools, communities, and events nationwide. Our team of professional breakers and teaching artists delivers interactive assemblies, workshops, and residencies that teach subjects like history, physics, teamwork, and social justice—all through the lens of Hip Hop. We believe in the four core principles of the culture: Peace, Love, Unity, and Having Fun, and we bring those values into every performance and classroom we step into.
