About HiP International

The vision of HiP is conducted in a simple concept, the communication network. The communication network links the help requests and the local church volunteer. Through a national number people can call the helpdesk HiP. The call is then directed to the church volunteer that matches their help request. Volunteers record their talents and their availability in our database. Based on these factors, a quick match can be made to give the most sufficient help to the requester. HiP International is best be described as an innovative social initiative in the depiction of a diaconate “helper”. HiP is a part of a movement in which churches take a joint responsibility for social problems in their own area. The ambitious vision, combined with the simplicity of the concept and spirit in the churches, are the elements that contribute to the success of the HiP in the Netherlands and we hope Internationally.
