The “Need” The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in the world facing unprecedented social and economic change with the fear of contagion resulting in lockdowns which has paralysed life for one and all. The quest to establish a safe environment by bringing life and business back to “normal” has created the need for the development of a secure, credible and sustainable mechanism, to enable seamless social-interaction to occur, without the fear of contagion. This basic quest and inert need for freedom and the free movement of people, triggered the development of our invention of an assurance tool which facilitates independent verification and authentication of an individual’s health record. The invention and design Our invention HiP Universal is a centralised Health Record Assurance Management System (HRAMS), which enables real-time independent, accurate, assured authentication to be provided to registered Recipient Users such as businesses with justified confidence. This assurance will only be provided after obtaining due approval from the Individual Record Owner. We are in the final stage of development and testing of the HiP Universal application and expect it will be ready for implementation and use by the end of this quarter. Watch this space!
