Hireable is an outplacement services, career consulting and e-learning organisation, founded in mid-2023 with the aim of supporting experienced professionals in navigating the post-pandemic employment market. Since the global pandemic flooded our lives in early 2020, the job market has been in the throes of constant and fleeting change. Employers went from making mass redundancies in 2020, to hiring aggressively throughout 2021 and 2022 to replenish depleted workforces, to realising they're over-leveraged in 2023 and making further redundancies. In addition, from the employees perspective, many have gone from long commutes and 5 days a week in the office to flexible and remote working. There is tension between employees and their organisations with the latter trying to move back to an office-heavy model and the former wanting to maintain independence and work/life balance.
