About Historical Diving Society USA

The Historical Diving Society, USA is an educational, non-profit (501C3) whos mission statement is: "To preserve, study, compile archive and disseminate information relating to the history of man's underwater activities and to promote public awareness of and participation in underwater activities". The HDS is supported by a membership base as well as sponsors who understand the importance of our mission. The HDSUSA prides itself on the accurate investigating and recording of diving history. These high standards have attracted the support of the world's leading divers, many of whom sit on the HDSUSA Advisory Board.
