hiwood. born from the passion of the architects Jorge Álvarez and Jorge Sotelo together with the designer David Durán for Architecture and Design in wood, which is redefined through the analysis of spatial forms that allow us to create unique objects and pieces through a conceptualization process and own handmade manufacturing that tries to revive the taste for craftsmanship and the uniqueness of each element. We create timeless unique pieces that speak of the reality of the materials and their details. In recent years, design has become a fundamental part of our lives, both for the spaces in which we live and for the objects that surround us. Its evolution has been exponential thanks to digitization but, somehow, the care that the artisan process projected to each piece has been lost, making it unique and that we want to claim together with a sustainable manufacturing system.
