Die Firma HOFFMANN PROPELLER wurde 1955 von Ludwig Hoffmann und Richard Wurm sen. gegründet und hat ihren Firmensitz in der oberbayrischen Stadt Rosenheim. Die Produktion von Propellern für Motorsegler startete zunächst mit 6 Mitarbeitern. Die Überholung und Wartung von Metallpropellern (Aluminium) aus den USA bildeten bald darauf ein weiteres Standbein des Unternehmens. Beide Bereiche expandierten kräftig und es wurde bald die Entwicklung und Herstellung von Propellern für Luftkissenboote sowie Fanblätter für den Windkanal in Angriff genommen. Aktuell ist Herr Dipl. Kaufmann Richard Wurm jun. Eigentümer und Herr Stephan Wurm Geschäftsführer der Firma Hoffmann Propeller.
