Protection starts with a conversation. Our insurance agency was founded in 1917 in Alexandria, Virginia, by Charles F. Holden. His goal was to provide specialized insurance programs to locally owned businesses servicing our community. Charlie valued his customers, practicing "know your clients by name, not by number;" a purpose we still carry 100 years later. A century later, our door still reads Holden & Co. Insurance. You'll find us open for business a block away from our original office in historic Old Town, Alexandria. Today, the fourth generation of Holdens continues to serve the community and our goals remain the same. We build custom Property and Casualty insurance programs for commercial clients. Our staff has a combined 200 years of insurance experience and we always put service first. Simply, we focus on protecting your business so that you can focus on your business.
