About Hollin

Everything that makes a business successful relies upon the behaviours of people. Since 2004, we have been using Behavioural Management Techniques - BMT - to help our clients understand why people behave the way they do. It uses some simple techniques to turn that understanding into lasting behavioural change in ourselves and those around us. BMT is a unique combination of tools from Applied Behavioural Science and techniques from Project Management. Read more about it here. Howard Lees founded Hollin after 30 years as a Civil Engineer. He left his senior position with the Bechtel Corporation to start Hollin back in 2004. Since then, he’s been joined by a core team in the UK, and a wider federation of associates from around the world, including a Hollin office in New Zealand covering the Asia region. BMT is currently being taught in Europe, the US, Asia and Australasia. While Howard is our Managing Director, day-to-day Hollin is overseen by Rachel Edwards, our Consulting Director, and Joanne Benjamin, our Training Director. Rachel and Joanne have been coaching and teaching BMT to some of the UK’s top teams, including the multiple-award-winning Bond Street Stations Upgrade team and Costain’s Behavioural Safety Programme Team. BMT is a unique tool that can be applied to any aspect of business (or life).
