Since 1970, Holscot has specialised in fluoroplastics (FEP, PFA and ETFE), producing a range of problem-solving products including fluoropolymer extrusions and tubing, FEP lamp protection, heat shrink sleeving, FEP films and sheets, custom fabrications and more. Holscot has developed unique techniques and skills to work with these versatile materials, including welding, vacuum forming and etching. Our expertise allows us to provide solutions to many diverse industries, including aerospace, lighting, architecture, paper, reprographic, offshore and medical. Using our skills in ETFE welding and thermoforming, we have developed a new and ground breaking architectural ETFE panel system. Featuring the same lightness and versatility combined with an ease of construction, this new system opens up many more diverse applications, including construction of butterfly farms, greenhouses and solar rooms. Holscot is a world leader in FEP diaphragms and FEP containment tanks for aerospace applications such as space propellant tanks, and we’re two-time winners of the prestigious Plunkett Award for our work in developing FEP fuel tanks. Our innovative techniques of vacuum forming and welding have enabled us to partner with companies such as Rolls Royce, British Aerospace, MT Aerospace and ESA to advance important and emerging areas of aerospace technology.
