Home Hospice Australia was created by Marin Ivkovic and Glenn Asschert who met whilst working together as palliative care nurses. They saw a need to provide people a specialist in-home palliative care nursing service and support people who wish to remain at home in their final days. We understand how distressing it can be for family and friends when someone is nearing the end of life, and trying to cope with the apprehension of the unknown. Our specialised nurses provide reassurance and choice when it comes to decisions about ongoing care to ensure that comfort and quality of life is maintained at all times. Our personalised tailored service assists people to be comfortable and peaceful when nearing the end of their life. We are committed to providing the highest standard of individualised palliative care. Dying, as with living, should include choice such as being supported to stay in one's home surrounded by family, friends and where the warmest memories were created.
