Through the years, patient independence, autonomy, and self care have remained at the core of our mission. We employ only the most qualified medical professionals to help patients adjust to their limitations with comfort and dignity. Home & Hospital was founded in 1979 by Sheila O'Connell, R.N., C.C.M. We are proud to have served the greater New Jersey community for more than 33 years. We have had the honor of caring for hundreds of patients, some of which have been with us for more than 20 years. We have a strong tradition of top-quality care and employ only the best healthcare professionals. Being nurse owned allows Home & Hospital to remain independent and autonomous. Our philosophy is that our patients are our family. At Home & Hospital, your care is our primary concern. The spirit of nursing is embodied by our care-givers and present throughout our entire organization. We accept Medicaid, HMO's, long term care insurance, most major insurance plans, and private pay. We are fully accredited through the Joint Commission and have received accreditation with commendation when that distinction was recognized.
