Home Repair Services of Kent County was established as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 1979 and is located in the heart of Grand Rapids. Home Repair Services strengthens lower-income homeowners throughout all of Kent County with services that include our Home Repair Team, Access Ramps and Bath Modifications Program, Fix-it School Classes, DIY Remodeling Together Program, and Financial Coaching and Workshops. Our Mission: Home Repair Services strengthens vulnerable Kent County homeowners because strong homeowners build strong communities.
