About Home-Start Sutton
Home-Start provides trained volunteers to work alongside families who are going through challenging times. Our volunteers offer friendship and support, to enable mums and dads to grow in confidence to be the parents they want to be, working on the simple premise that children who are raised in a stable, loving family environment are more likely to have a positive and healthy future. We also offer groups and courses for families with specific challenges including those living in temporary accommodation and victims of domestic abuse, and provide support and advocacy for parents going through child protection conferences or raising older children at risk of exclusion and criminal activity. Our funders include The National Lottery, BBC Children in Need, Mayor's Young Londoners' Fund, Transform Partnership and London Borough of Sutton.
