About Homeless & ReEntry Helpers

We are a faith-based social services orginization dedicated to serving community needs of the homeless, veteran, elderly and ReEntry (ExCon) population. We are designated a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS). HRH does not advocate or facilitate life on the streets, because it is our mission to guide souls into shelter/transitional housing/permanent housing. We recognize that not all of our clients want housing, so we try to ensure their safety and basic needs by direct services and referrals to other charities chartered to support life on the streets. Our direct services include assistance/advocacy navigating through other governmental and NGO services. We also serve nutrious meals five nights a week. HRH runs a clothing closet and toiletry pantry to address material needs. We host a number of monthly activities incuding prayer vigils, haircuts, gospel concerts, etc. We also interact with other assistance agencies to address "non-stock" needs (e.g., infant carrier, back pack, medical assistance, etc.). HRH offers a wide-range of referral services including; employment, housing, training programs, veteran benefits, health services, food pantries, etc. We offer fellowship, spirtual counseling and most importantly...HOPE to all of our clients because we treat them as our friends & family. Government, community, church and "angels on earth" serving the most in need and the least served...that is what HRH is about!
