Greenville and Upstate SC are vibrant communities, offering opportunities and a high quality of life for many. However, this prosperity isn't shared by all. Homelessness has risen over 12% across all categories, with the highest number of individuals reported since 2007. Safe and secure housing is the foundation for a thriving future. Witnessing this critical need and driven by a deep love for our community, Homes Restore: Flourishing Foundations was born in 2023. We are a community of hope and restoration. We stand united with like-minded organizations to transform the lives of those experiencing homelessness in Upstate SC. Despite the exceptional work by existing homeless organizations, the lack of affordable housing hinders long-term success. These individuals need a stable foundation and a place of their own while they build a brighter future. Non-congregate homes situated within thriving communities provide the answer. This model offers residents more privacy and independence compared to traditional shelters. By living in a supportive environment, participants can access the resources and tools they need to achieve self-sufficiency and a prosperous future. Together, we can make a difference. Through strategic partnerships with businesses, volunteers, and other organizations, we empower Greenville's citizens to build a truly inclusive and thriving city for everyone.
