About Honour The Work
At Honour the Work, we believe it is time for a generational shift in the perception of careers in the skilled trades! We serve to raise awareness of the diverse and growing career opportunities that exist throughout our country and globally! We piloted our hands-on curricular STEAMS Kit program with Ontario grades 1-6 teachers in 2023-2024 because introducing students to skilled trades opportunities needs to begin in elementary school. We are thrilled to be expanding our program into Alberta in 2024-2025! On our website, we have curated a list of resources for parents, youth, and apprentices; free classroom hands-on activities and programs for educators; children STEAM and ACE books; and financial supports.
