About Hook Mason Architecture
Situated in the beautiful Wye Valley, Hook Mason Ltd. is a long established award-winning architectural practice undertaking contemporary, historic and conservation projects. The team comprises a mix of age and experience with both architects and architectural technologists providing Architectural, Surveying, Planning & Development Consultancy, Heritage Consultancy and Project Management services. Much of the Practice's work involves the repair and creative re-use of historic buildings, however our expertise extends to contemporary architecture in its many forms. As Architects and Surveyors Hook Mason is responsible for the care of over 250 churches within eight separate Diocese and is appointed as Diocesan Surveyor for the Diocese of Hereford. Hook Mason works extensively with clients on private residential projects, including both new buildings and alterations to existing properties, ranging from simple cottages to grade 1 listed country houses. The practice is regularly consulted to advise on the conversion of redundant traditional farm buildings for residential and other appropriate uses. Hook Mason's commercial work is wide ranging and encompasses the retail, leisure, office, residential and hospitality sectors, with individual corporate clients and property developers. Hook Mason's Chartered Town Planning expertise enables us to advise clients on all town & country planning related matters and provides specialist development consultancy advice to land owners, developers, corporate bodies and individuals seeking to develop land and enhance land value through development.
