Hooke Laboratories is a fast-growing biotechnology service and product company in Lawrence, Massachusetts, USA. We were founded by immunologist Suzana Marusic, M.D., Ph.D. in 2007. The company is named after Robert Hooke, F.R.S. (1635-1703), the world's first professional scientist and discoverer of the cell. We have three complementary lines of business supporting in vivo and ex vivo research worldwide. Hooke Laboratories is a full-service pre-clinical CRO specializing in rodent models of inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Our CRO customers include leading international pharmas, venture-funded biotechs, universities and small startups. Our product customers are even more diverse, and include university, foundation, and commercial scientists in more than 40 different countries. Our product business offers potency-characterized emulsion kits, antigens, tissues, and reagents to researchers worldwide. As of early 2019, Hooke products have been cited in over 400 peer-reviewed scientific publications (and growing!). We have most recently expanded our offerings to include ex vivo services – extending our capabilities in histology, immunohistochemistry, cytokine analysis and flow cytometry more broadly to the research community.
