About Hoot Architecture

Hoot is an architectural practice based in Durham. We are passionate about creating exceptional buildings and places, whatever the size or budget. The practise is led by Stu Kent who has many years working in residential and commercial design both in the UK and abroad. The first stage of all projects is listening closely to our clients to understand their aspirations and requirements, only once this is done can we start drawing. All projects are designed using 3D computer modelling which allows us to thoroughly test concepts and refine the small details. The 3D models also assist clients to fully visualise and understand the designs as they develop. Our rigorous approach leads to designs that are both creative and affordable. We take a wide varied of projects from small extensions to large homes, commercial building and masterplanning. We offer architecture, project management, building regulations, interior design and 3D computer generated imagery.
