About Hop Skip and Vine
Hop Skip & Vine specialize in wine tasting for corporate events or private parties. We believe in wine tasting being fun, educational, but, most importantly, that tasting is a medium for interaction between you and your guests. The more interaction the better the event. Dave Walsh has been in the wine trade for over ten years. Although Irish, he studied all things wine in Australia, were he received a Diploma in Wine Business from the University of Adelaide. He has been Geoff Hardy’s Marketing Manager (in Australia), Adnams Southwold’s Events Co-ordinator, as well as hosting his own tastings independently. Dave believes that wine tastings should be fun, educational, and, above all, interactive. We host blind tastings primarily. In doing so, there are no pre-conceptions. Each wine is treated on its own merits. After all, with wine tastings, it’s subjective. There is no right, there is no wrong!!
