At HOPE Coffee, our values are built from Micah 6:8. This drives how we treat coffee farmers, why we focus on quality, how we serve our customers, how we create ways for people in the United States to engage in International Missions, and why we partner with local churches in Central America to provide families with access to clean water and safe homes. We are as much a Missions Agency as we are a Coffee Company. “And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Act Justly. HOPE Coffee is intentional about empowering coffee farmers through Direct Trade relationships. We personally know the farmers who grow HOPE Coffee and we want you to know them as well. By regularly engaging with them, we can meet needs quickly and minister to their families and their coffee pickers. One of our favorite reports is when one decides to trust in Jesus! To this day, every bag of coffee sold supports the sharing of the gospel. By meeting basic needs throughout Central America like safe housing and access to clean water and education, HOPE Coffee is able to demonstrate in a very real way the love of Jesus to those in need. We see numerous people trust in Jesus every year as a result of these projects! Walk Humbly. We believe that God wants to use local churches to be His hands and feet to unbelievers in their communities. That’s why we work through local churches in Honduras, Mexico and Guatemala to complete service projects for families in need. Throughout the course of a project, church members come alongside families and build strong relationships with them. It is the local church who ministers to families before, during and long after the project is complete.
