About Hope in a Home
I’m Chantell-Marie, a former foster child turned advocate, on a mission to inspire and empower foster children to believe in themselves and their potential. Growing up in foster care, I moved 28 times and faced the challenges of trauma, fear, and limiting beliefs. Through resilience and determination, I’ve transformed my story into a source of hope for others. Hope in a Home is more than a podcast, it’s a heartfelt documentary of my life. I share the raw, real, and often untold experiences of growing up in the foster care system, while inviting the voices of those who shaped my journey. Former foster carers, youth workers, and family members join me for honest conversations to reflect on the past, raise awareness, and shed light on the unique challenges foster children face. This is just the beginning, laying the foundation of a much bigger vision. This platform is dedicated to inspiring hope, sparking meaningful change, and creating a community where foster children can see that their past does not define their future. My mission is simple but profound: to be the Hope in a Home. Join me as we turn stories of struggle into stories of strength and pave the way for brighter futures.
