About Hope Renewed International

Hope Renewed International is dedicated to renewing HOPE by living out and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ; by improving the quality of life; and by providing relief and opportunities to those who may not otherwise have them. HRI’s approach is to partner with community leaders with a focus on education and skills development. We want to empower the people in the communities where we are working to ultimately help themselves, creating dependability not dependency. Hope Renewed International is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Serve We seek to serve the people of Guatemala City through meeting their basic needs in life concerning education, food, water and shelter. Equip We provide people with all the components needed to implement change within their own communities. We hire local people and buy local materials whenever possible, creating jobs and income to further benefit the community at large. Our approach starts with a “Work for Change” philosophy, whereby individuals in most situations will work on projects to earn basic items for the well-being of their family. Empower Our goal is to renew people’s hope in a better life for themselves and for their children and to demonstrate that real change is possible. We are committed to seeing people manage their own lives to the greatest extent possible. We work hard to empower people to do what they can for themselves, utilizing local knowledge, and with minimal dependence on outside support.
