Hope2Sleep is a Registered Charity (No 1168089) run by Sleep Apnoea Sufferers, CPAP & Ventilation Users and Sleep Professionals - all of whom are passionate and committed in volunteering to support people to get the safe restful sleep they deserve! Our charity premises are in Hull, East Yorkshire and we have people travelling to us from all areas of the UK (and even internationally) for free one-to-one support, CPAP mask fittings and to purchase CPAP and sleep apnoea comfort products, which provides the main source of funding the charity. We are passionate in raising awareness of sleep apnoea due to the fact that it is a serious medical condition when undiagnosed and treated, and there are 8 million sufferers in the UK alone (936 million worldwide) and yet still the majority remain undiagnosed. We also support suspected sleep apnoea sufferers through to diagnosis and treatment, and even have a diagnostic sleep study service, which is greatly in need due to huge waiting list at many UK sleep clinics, as well as the fact that a lot of GP's still refuse to refer their patients to sleep clinics. We are a unique Charity, in that we support patients with all kinds of sleep disordered breathing, such as:- Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA or OSAS) Central Sleep Apnoea (CSA). Mixed Sleep Apnoea (also known as Complex Sleep Apnoea). Upper Airways Resistance Syndrome (UARS). Snoring (when UARS or OSA is suspected). Hypoventilation Syndromes. Any other condition requiring CPAP or Non-Invasive Ventilation.
