About Horizon Care & Education

Horizon Care and Education Group is a growing provider of children’s homes, specialist schools, and supported accommodation. Since operations began in 2007, Horizon has grown to a team of more than 1,000 colleagues who work tirelessly to offer the best services and support for those children and young people within our care. From our teaching staff to our residential workers; our psychologists through to our administrative functions – diversity is a strength, and we celebrate the differences amongst our colleagues and the wide breadth of personal experience and skills that it brings. Our Schools – Horizon’s independent schools provide high quality specialist education for young people, and an opportunity to thrive in a supportive and inspiring learning environment. Our Homes – We provide family-sized homes around the country that truly feel like home, offering safe and nurturing environments through our therapeutic approach to care. Supported Accommodation – Our team provide housing and support for young people, making the journey to independent living as simple and enriching as possible, whilst feeling respected and cared for. Alternative Learning – Horizon design and deliver personalised, innovative learning programmes that support young people, enabling students to achieve learning goals and aspirations.
