About Horizons Colorado at Colorado Academy
Horizons at Colorado Academy, an affiliate of the Horizons National network, is a transformational youth development program that offers summer and school-year programming for students who have less access to resources due to systemic inequities. Horizons provides experiences that enhance self-esteem, develop personal and academic skills, foster responsibility, build resiliency, encourage a lifelong love of learning, and contribute to the successful development of the whole child. Our program empowers all students to seize opportunities to grow academically, try new experiences, and challenge themselves with the goal of living choice-filled lives. By developing strong bonds with our students from an early age and supporting them through their school years, Horizons provides positive paths forward for our students, their families, and the community.
