In the US - Horstman Inc, Michigan provides engineering, PM, manufacturing, assembly and test services to prime contractors and vehicle OEMs on wheeled and tracked armoured vehicles with expertise in defence hydraulics, suspension, gearboxes and systems integration. Additionally, a novel compressible fluid strut technology offers a low cost dual-use system. Horstman have capability in precision machining, assembly and test of mechanical, electro mechanical and hydraulic assemblies including safety critical components in high strength steels, aluminium and titanium alloys, with exacting machining tolerances and surface finishes required for the defence, sub-sea, oil and gas, aerospace and nuclear markets.
