About Horta Museum

Welcome to the personal home and studio of architect Victor Horta. Built between 1898 and 1901, the two buildings are typical of Art Nouveau at its height. The house has retained much of its interior decoration, with mosaics, stained glass and murals creating a harmonious whole, refined in every detail. The Horta Museum holds a rich library of works on Art Nouveau, the catalog of which can now be consulted online and the Horta Museum hosts various thematic exhibitions.
