About HORYZN

HORYZN is a student initiative consisting of 70 Bachelor and Master students of the TU Munich. The team is conceptualizing, designing and building eVTOL (electrical Vertical Take-Off and Landing) UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for real-life use cases. Besides that, the initiative strives for an increased social and political acceptance of UAVs. ✅𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 In July 2024, we finished our latest project: Our UAV KOLIBRI, developed for delivering life-saving defibrillators, successfully took off after 12 months of testing, building, crashing and redesigning. 🛠𝗖𝗨𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 Right now, the new team of HORYZN is developing an autonomous life-saving passenger drone to compete in the GoAERO Prize, redefining the field of Advanced Air Medical Mobility.
