Inspired by the Hospice and Palliative Care movement, we focus on volunteerism to make a meaningful impact on individuals and their families during this important time. Our organization, the Hospice Volunteer Association (HVA), was created to preserve the spirit of hospice volunteerism. We advocate for the importance of volunteers in providing not just practical help, but also emotional and spiritual support to those in need. Our volunteer program helps the volunteers in offering comfort to the dying and their loved ones as they navigate the end-of-life journey. We are committed to keeping volunteerism at the heart of hospice care, despite the financial challenges facing the industry. By connecting volunteers and managers from around the world, we aim to build a global community that supports and learns from each other, ensuring that compassionate care remains a priority. Together, we strive to improve the lives of individuals and their families through Patient Data Vault driven by the Hospice Volunteer Association (HVA) in collaboration with all of our subscriber’s hospice volunteers and managers who, most compassionately, have served thousands of patients and families in end-of-life care using the PDV.
