Email: htss@torontomu.ca The Hospitality and Tourism Students’ Society (HTSS) is run by a dedicated, enthusiastic and success-driven group of students who take the initiative to enhance the university experience for all students enrolled at the Ted Rogers School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (Toronto Metropolitan University) by consistently striving to reach the pinnacle of academic, social and professional success. As student leaders, we pride ourselves on guiding our peers to achieve their true potential. The HTSS’ mandate is to promote student engagement on campus and strengthen the 3 pillars of the Ted Rogers Students’ Society (TRSS): 1. ACADEMIC– by offering workshops and competitions to supplement students’ learning from the classroom to make for a holistic educational experience. 2. PROFESSIONAL – by hosting career-oriented events that aid in bridging the gap between industry leaders within the hospitality and tourism community and students who are the leaders of tomorrow. 3. SOCIAL – by providing opportunities for students to foster relationships and experiences that lasts beyond the academic years and to build their most important network, their peer network.
