About Hospitality House Youth Development
About Us Hospitality House Youth Development (HHYD) is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization based in North Minneapolis, committed to the spiritual, intellectual, and physical development of inner-city youth and their families. For over 65 years, we have provided a safe and supportive environment where young people are empowered to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually. Our mission is to equip youth with the tools they need to become responsible, productive Christian leaders. We do this through year-round, high-impact programming including: The Urban Learning Center – An academic enrichment program in partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools Athletics & Mentorship – Encouraging character, discipline, and teamwork through sports and one-on-one guidance Faith-Based Programming – Spiritual development rooted in Biblical principles Community Outreach – Supporting families through seasonal events, food distribution, and holistic resources HHYD is more than a program, it's a place of hope, restoration, and opportunity for youth ages 5 and up. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work hand-in-hand with families and local partners to break cycles of poverty and promote long-term transformation in North Minneapolis.
