About Hospitality Human Resource Professionals Association (HHRPA)

The Hospitality Human Resource Professionals Association (HHRPA) is a leading network of educated and engaged HR professionals working in the Greater Toronto Area hospitality sector. We are a Toronto-based non-profit organization, with roots dating back to our founding in 1975. Since then, HHRPA has represented more than 70 GTA hotel companies, restaurant chains, entertainment groups, athletic clubs, and post-secondary educational institutions with a focus on hospitality training and development. HHRPA Members actively work to advance the HR profession, promote innovative industry strategies and enhance organizational business performance. Staying relevant on legislations - employment, immigration and labor laws impacting the workplace is vital to our success as an Association. Members meet regularly and formally, including gathering at an annual conference to learn about new practices and future trends taught by subject matter experts. Community partnerships are at the core of the work of HHRPA; representing and celebrating the diversity of the people foundational to the operations it supports.
