About Hot Cottage
HOT COTTAGE is a design office and creative consultancy led by Ed Davis. Founded in 2025 in Melbourne, it extends his long-running practice of collaboration and cultural interpretation. From 2015—2024, as founder and art director of Brain Dead, Davis established a precedent for working across design and visual culture—not only as an extension of an artistic practice, but also a way to define community, identity, and context.
