Hotbath was born as a start-up back in 2008, on the initiative of a team of Italian and Dutch professionals who launched the brand in the Netherlands under the motto “100% Italian bathroomware”. 12 years later, Hotbath has grown to become the leading bathroom fittings brand on the Dutch market. Its products are distributed by more than 400 wholesalers and retailers. In January 2016, Hotbath Srl started distributing its products on the international market, leading the brand to gain even greater recognition thanks to the innovative design and quality of its products. In May 2019, Hotbath was acquired by the Swedish group FM Mattsson Mora, a major brand on the Nordic markets that has been manufacturing taps and mixer faucets since 1876, whose stocks are listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. The founders of Hotbath continued their professional adventure as members of the top management of FM Mattsson Mora Group AB: an international joint venture that blends Italian taste, Dutch marketing and Scandinavian know-how. A European team ready to face the economic and environmental challenges of the new decade.
