About House of Pod
House of Pod is an award-winning audio production company, that tells rich stories at the crossroads of social justice and science. We make podcasts alongside the people most affected by the story, with community baked into the DNA of every production. We also infuse our work with immersive and experiential sound design. For us, sound is an adventure. What started as a community podcasting hub in 2017, helping hundreds of shows launch in Denver, Colorado, House of Pod has since grown to focus on impactful, surprising, and entertaining science and social justice stories. Our clients include National Geographic Okavango Wilderness Project, Outside+, SAPIENS Magazine, The Denver Museum of Nature and Science, The Sea Change Project, and many, many more. A good example of the kind of work we do is Guardians of the River, which won best non-fiction podcast of 2021 at the Tribeca Film Festival and the Jackson Wild Film Festival.
